Making your own Starbucks' drinks

Hello. Do you like Starbucks' drinks? Visit them often at all? Cause I do.
Recently I got hooked on this caramel ribbon crunch shit. It tastes so good, I almost would give them a hundred dollars if that was the price they asked for. Anyway, I have been thinking that going to Starbucks as often as I do costs a lot of money, and these drinks, when you get down to it, are just ice slush mixed with syrups. So I have been thinking, is there a way of replicating these things at home, all by myself? I can sure get a canister of whipped cream and possibly get some of those crunchy brown sugar rocks thing that they sprinkle on the finished drink. But where can I go to buy the syrup, though?
Anybody here tried to make their own "mini-Starbucks"?

You can buy their syrups if I'm not mistaken.. Like 12-14$ or something. My friend did this same thing with espresso and lattes.

Spend $30 on a cheap espresso maker with built in steamer and you can make 75% of their menu. Get more creative though, you are REALLY setting the bar low worshiping their charcoal flavored milks.

its pretty easy once you understand whats going on. But yah start with a cheap espresso maker, make you a shot or 2 with it, put that in a cup. Then you mix flavors with milk, and steam it so it expands and heats up, then pour into the shot and your done, unless you want whip cream ontop. target has some nice coffee syrups, and just regular herseys chocolate syrup works in a pinch too.
me i just use coffee creamer tho, 3 table spoons creamer, 2 shots, milk, done. simple, easy, and pretty tasty with alot of flavors to choose from. i like bailys best but for some reason their shit dispears from the shelf, like one store here just stopped stocking them all together for some reason, yet thats all i would buy and i know other people were buying them alot too. so why would they stop stocking? its like they wanted to force us to buy the cheap coffee creamer or something....

That bailey's stuff is pretty good. I've never steamed it (or any store bought creamer) though! I'll have to try that.
I've recently been using milk and coconut cream as a base, then adding almond extract and condensed milk to sweeten. Also, I usually grind my coffee with some spice (usually cinnamon or allspice), but I've also been using toasted coconut and cocoa nibs left over from a homebrew project...
How deep down to rabbit hole do you wanna go?

the key is to stop steaming soon as your thing starts to feel warm, if you let it steam to long the sugars carmelize along with all the chemicals they put in it and then it tastes horrible, at least with the cheap shit thats what happens. with the baileys creamer that doesn't seem to be nearly as problematic

i long for the day i have a full barista station in my kitchen, caffeine addiction for lyfe.
you are correct about over heating it, i have not made that stuff in almost 10 years but i used to hate the extra hot types, it can only fucking boil to steam, no hotter then that.

Well, the sugars caramelizing is a good thing! It gives the sweetness more profile. But yeah, who knows what heat does to all the preservatives and whatnot.
I honestly didn't like that bailey's stuff the last time I had it (the non-alcoholic creamer, right?), but I'll give it a shot (shroomery ad-bot). It might have been the shitty drip. Everything's better as espresso.

certain flavors work better than others, buy a bunch of the small bottles till you find ones you like. Irish cream is good but slightly an aquired taste, french is good, the chocolate ones arn't my favorite but can work in a pinch.
but overheating the creamer makes it taste like vomit and it does not take long for it to happen, so if you get a bad taste you know what happened
