Canberra Subs -- Respawned

Hey again everyone, I made a post a few weeks ago asking if subs will grow back at the same place I found them last year, and sure enough, here they are, there are about 50-100 scattered all over the place, and I have a few questions about them. Last harvest, the mushrooms I found were a but bigger than these ones, I'm wondering if that has something to do with the fact that there hasn't been very much rain? Some are also starting to go black on top, why is this? And are they still ok to harvest? Thanks guys.
TL:DR - What are these black bits, when should I pick them, is it due to lack of rain.

in terms of harvesting, as long as the caps have been fully open a few days they should be ok to pick.
that spot looks really dry, so they are probably lacking moisture. size is based on nutrients not rain. every bangs on about rain, its not that important. what is more important is that the mushrooms have access to nutrients, granted this requires the substrate is moist. in my opinion dew is much better than rain. you can get good rain, they will still be tiny if there are no available nutrients.
some of those look odd, so double check for blue bruising, but they look like Psilocybe subaeruginosa to me.
black spots are probably insects or grubs munching. the blackening is probably either from frost damage and or drying out too quick.

With all that being said about the black bits, are they still ok to dry and consume?

Wow cheers, man! Have been looking forward to seeing if indeed the subs you spoke about a few weeks ago would be growing there this year.
Hoping we get a little more rain -- fingers crossed.

Hey guys -- just another update and a couple more questions, I went out to pick them today, and sent them off to dry under a fan, here are some of the ones I picked:

A small family clumped --

Also, these ones looked a little off, I didn't take them, would they be ok to dry and eat?

And one for you guys to ID: found on a log right next to the subs:
