To make this short, SWIM has a garden and their friends family has a giant cow manure compost pile. SWIM took a few chunks of this compost to use as fertilizer for their garden and left them in the car for a couple days. Today SWIM said he took them out of the car and was breaking them up and spreading them at the base of his plants when he noticed some white pins with golden centers popping up from one of the chunks. SWIM is wondering what he can do to further encourage growth of these pins. Would it be wise to leave them in humid greenhouse or will light destroy these little ones? I can't identify them yet but hope to take prints when they grow up. Thank you for any information that you are able to provide

plop it in a shady corner of the greenhouse that gets some indirect light and see if you can rehydrate it with some spraying, but dude, if your parents aren't cool with you ordering a syringe, maybe you shouldn't be trying to hide a clandestine operation in the backyard. Not here to tell you how to live your life though

I'm actually 25 years old and have my own place, but I am not so into this that I want to go through the whole process of cultivation, I just thought hell if mother nature has already started this then I'll let it go but didn't want to ruin anything in the process, and yes I posted this thread 3 times because I wasn't sure what section to put it in lol

Well right on then. Just be careful. You can start doing it properly for around 30 bucks if you already have a greenhouse. Something to think about

Sorry if I came off as crass, its just that lately there has been a slew of kids trying to set up under-the-bed grows in their parents house. Most of them don't realize the risk they are putting their family in by doing it.

Definitely is something to think about. I've cultivated mycelium of oyster mushrooms so am somewhat familiar of the process. I also have a book about cultivation but it scared me a bit when they said they're using air purifiers and An entire room dedicated to the process but I'm sure and as you say it can be done on a much smaller and less expensive scale. Its also very illegal where I live but I figured that they can't prove someone as a cultivating if someone just happend to have some mushrooms growing from some dung that they are clearly using as ferts for their veggie garden. But thank you for your attention to this post and your quick replys and understanding of me being a new comer here. I will let you guys know what comes of this and hopefully it ends with me steeping these guys into my favorite tea of all time! Take care
