So I went outside to check on him today and heres what I've noticed. His tip is fairly damaged and soft. his body isnt as soft as it was when he first arrived, however he is wrinkled. Here are some pictures up close so you can see, though they're not the best.

What do you guys think? What should I do, leave him to rest for another week or two and then acclimate him to sun? He's still sitting outside on our front porch, which has a roof so hes in shade, but hes getting bright day light. Should I give him ferts anytime soon? I have cactus juice on hand.

Be glad he's alive at least, the wrinkling could just be from a rough journey or something. Same with the damaged tip. Maybe it is getting a bit much sun?

I can't really say what is causing it or what you should do for it

I can say however you should email them if you have not already. I am still waiting to hear back myself though,

If I don't hear back in another day or two I will have to just contact ebay as the seedlings I got look almost nothing like the ones in the listings picture.

Health wise at least, and it was like a 3 day shipment so I don't see how they could get so much worse during delivery...

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Yeah I emailed them a few days ago, I got an automatic response saying theyll be unavailable til the 6th. If I don't get a response I'll just goto Ebay myself as well. The seedling however receives no sun where he is sitting. I want this little guy to pull through so badly haha

Yeah I watched that listing myself and was pretty tempted, I really like the pysch0 hybrids.

If he is getting no direct sunlight then it almost certainly is from delivery I would say.

Well don't take my word for it, but I would definitely give it a little before adjusting it to full sun.

The wrinkling could also be water related perhaps, I have seen thicker seedlings start to contract and wrinkle as the dry out a bit.

Like I said though I am not really sure that's all just opinion.

Someone else will no doubt give you a more definite answer.

the wrinkling is part of the rooting process for really thin cuttings. It happens because the plant is using its stored reserves to grow the roots, and does not have enough moisture to keep its shape. The wrinkles form because it has nowhere else to collapse in so the skin begins to wrinkle and sag. Give it a trickle of water each day. It will slowly begin uptake to fatten back out. The wrinkles will vanish, but may become light colored lines, not scarred, just lighter colored.

I dealt with this issue on about 20 cuttings that I bought in 2013. Even though the plants are now fully rooted and fatter and healthy, the occasional one will still have its wrinkles. Ill see if I can put up a pic.

Edit: Ive been watering a bit heavier lately due to the heat here, and I couldn't find a good example of the wrinkles. It is only the ones that were super etiolated and in poor form as cuttings though.
