Hello, Id really appreciate if anyone can shed a little light on these? found at a spot all the old timers swear by, i know theyre not p.semilanceata. was wondering if they could be an active species of panaeolus due to so many old timers swearing by these fields. i haven't got an eye for identifying panaeolus species so could anyone identify these for me to either confirm or deny my suspicions. many thanks!
Habitat: found on large lawn/playing field. Gills: See picture Stem: i think i remember it being hollow? not sure, will have to check when i return to the spot.
Cap: varied from flat/domed to conical
Spore print color: no prints taken

Def Pan cincts. Visible lines in the stem. Correct cap color. Spore print em, scrape the spores in a spray bottle and water the lawn ^_^

That's a lot that's what I thought they were too. But they had tiny worms, like larva onside them

Don't dry the ones like that I found about 25 of them and I left them to dry. The bugs multiplied it was insane I opened the bag and they were everywhere. Throw the ones with bugs out they will multiply to the others.

I'd bet money on foes. Take a spore print and post a pic of it if you want to be certain.
