Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
Ontario, Canada. Found growing in 1 year old patchy sod.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Greyish to black gills.
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Stem is thinker and less fragile than the foes I find in the same area.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: Very important!
Still waiting on prints but they will be jet black.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Noticed some blue bruising in the white on the base of the stipe in one of these.

Here are a couple prints. These have only been printing for about 30 minutes.

I know it's only been 30 min. but those prints look pretty black to me.....I would think for cincts.

I did pull one foe out of the pile, print was clearly brown. The rest appear to be printing black though.
Based on the pics I've seen I'm leaning more toward olivaceus. I really need to get myself a microscope.

Decided to head back out this morning in hopes of beating the lawnmower. Took a few habitat shots as well.
Still lots of little guys out there, I should get another solid flush in a couple days.

So, a friend and I decided to try these out. We made a tea using approx 2oz of fresh mushrooms. Not the strongest of shrooms but most certainly active. I would consider these a nice social shroom.
The high heat and humidity have officially arrived. I havent found any of these guys since. Hoping to see somemore after a couple good rains, but wont be surprised if they dont return until mid August when the weather cools off a bit.
My search is now moving into the woods. I'll be on the hunt for Psilocybe Caerulipes. After plenty of research I belive I'm in prime Caerulipes territory, lots of hardwood with plenty of Beech trees along the river.
I would not be the first person to find them in my area. This find was posted on mushroomobserver by a local hunter a few kilometers from my front door. Interestingly enough, the only other caerulipes find listed in Ontario is 600km NE of this find.

2oz wet.
I've also tried 3g dried and the experience was about the same. If you have a high tolerance or your looking for a really trippy experience your likely going to need to do more than that though.

I have a shit-ton of cincts from fall and spring and now summer. I haven't eaten any ever because I've had a bunch Ps. cyans, stuntziis, ovoids, and cubes. Heard cincts were kinda weak, and wasn't sure about dosing. Cincts are new to me; as of last fall they haven't been on my radar.
