Just took the first transfer. Took the thickest spot of growth. Not my cleanest feeling transfer ever, but if it isn't contaminated it will be going to grain when this grows out. There were no visible contams on the germination plate.
Haven't decided if I want to LI it or not yet. I think I will.

I came back after a bit more than a week and the plates are grown to the edges. One has a mold contamination on the edge. I'll update my journal after work and pictures too

One of my PE swabs finally germinated. Took two transfers from it this morning.
Transferred my four B+ plates to four thicker plates so they don't dry out. Still planning to get some invitro pins. If there's no contams these plates will sit until they either pin or I decide to toss them.
Started a B+ master from some rhizomorphic growth on one of the B+ plates. I'll probably run three or four tubs off of this. May or may not take a clone depending on how my invitro plates do.
Transferred some nice rhizomorphic growth on my PE Syringe plate this morning. On the 10th I knocked up two jars from this same plate. I also took a transfer but I must not have gotten the myc onto the plate as there was no signs of growth still today.

Did you PC more plates and maybe get it mixed in while prepping?

Oysters: Back on 9/7 I knocked up three quart jars with L.I. I made out of the astonishingly fast Pearl Oyster agar plate. They are about 2/3 colonized.
Black Poplar: My Black Poplar petri dish is about 2/3 - 3/4 to the edge and looks fantastic. I will probably do the same thing with the Black Poplar as with the Pearl Oyster - give it a chop-chop in my home-made Ehrich blender and knock up 5 or 6 quart jars so I can make up a couple of blocks and have enough L.I. left to make a couple of syringes to stick in the refrigerator for future use.

Button: Now on to the one failure. The Warm Weather Button mycelium apparently is too senescent to do much of anything. Either that or it doesn't appreciate straight 2% MEA. I have about 3mm worth of mycelium on the re-do agar plate from 9/5 - the one I made up since I saw no growth whatsoever from the original petri from 9/1. I'm thinking that's a 100% fail.

B+: For reasons of my own I'm not photo documenting the B+. Suffice it to say it took 3 transfers to get a gorgeous, fast, ropey (what I believe to be) pure strain and if it turns out to have some good characteristics, the prints I send out are going to be labeled "N.B.++"

Spore --> agar --> li --> master grain and 10 jars.
The jars are going to be spawned to a monotub

Nice. Your agar colonized fast then, or did you take only the colonized parts to make your LI?

my LAGM
So basically I was out of town unexpectedly for a while. Some were quite overgrown when I got back. I did transfers on everything that's shown me anything worth transfering. I'm Quite pleased actually considering lots of them were spores i took. This was my first time using prints i made, so it's nice to know I can print decently

Lol! Seriously? FWIW I had no problems with your B+ print. I would consider it amongst the cleanest I've ever worked from. You must be doing something right! In fact, it might be worthwhile sharing your technique. Hint, hint.

ive tiger dropped a bunch on oats. updating the log soon. then we have some tiger drops from left to right: KSS, PE, Pan Jamaica, P. Tamps, ATL7

last but not least, some cornmeal mush plate liquid inoculant showing leap off on day 2. and from eye, it appears that its going to be slightly faster than regular LI. i can already see that it has many more points of inoculation. im hoping to get some fully dense growth by day 4.
