Damn man that sucks. I would definitely say their ruined, but in the ones that didn't get too much extra moisture you might be okay. I read extra moisture just congregates at the bottom making the bottom take longer to colonize. Now if they are all looking flooded there's probably no hope.

Throw them away. You're putting an unwilling person at risk so you can get high. That's fucked up.

Those are garbage, man. Even without the ethical implications, the water in the jars is filled with contaminants from dripping off the patio into the jars. I mean they are probably cram packed with all kinds of nasty.

What I mean is, rain captures contaminant spores and pollen and all sorts of microbes that float freely through the air as it falls. So any rain water that is in your jar is filled with contams, and also it had to hit your patio first before it dripped into the jars so you know it's just filled with stuff you don't want.

Why are you mad and calling me names honestly? Do you know me or my mom? No..You're level of concern shouldn't be this high, and I'm pretty sure I'd take the fall for it..you just want to look like a good samaritan in public and you'll never fall into that category by calling someone you don't know an inconsiderate duesch, shut up.  Someone should throw you out.

As long as mold isn't on the fruit bodies they are safe to eat. According to trusted cultivators.

First of all, and perhaps most importantly, that's not how to spell "douche"

Secondly you need to understand why we are hesitant to help someone who demonstrates a lack of maturity when it comes to this stuff. It's a lot of fun but it's no joke, this shit can be dangerous.

So when we see someone who is desperate to save a couple cakes, even though he's been advised to throw them out and get another ten dollar spike, it throws up all kinds of red flags.

Is it possible for them to colonize and be safe to eat? Yes, it is possible. But is it worth the risk? Do some research on what tainted mushrooms can do to you, then make the decision for yourself.

We're all telling you to toss them but you're looking for someone to give you the go ahead anyway. I don't think many people in this community are going to do that.

There is a learning curve to this hobby, and that means money spent without a physical return sometimes. But you get knowledge. If you just want to skip to the end, get $40 and buy some.

This ain't like growing pot

 you can tell mushrooms that shouldn't be eaten. If they colonize(which I'm sure they won't) I would say the fruit body's should be good to eat

Wtf. Do you not know what happens in a grow bust? You wouldn't take the fall for it. They strip the entire house out, and take it from you. Everyone gets effected. Not only would your rents lose their house they'd have a high risk of losing their job. That doesn't even include the risk of incarceration. Just so you could get some mushrooms. I'm sorry but DON'T GROW SOMETHING ILLEGAL IN SOMEONE ELSE'S HOUSE WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION. That's just wrong on so many levels. Hell I don't even take food from my parents fridge without their permission.

Honestly not to sound like a dick but I would toss them out. In the way you've handled your jars it sounds like you haven't done enough research on the subject and don't really have a safe growing environment at the moment. Just read read read and when the time comes you'll have such a bitchin grow you'll be like a proud father at graduation day! Some things are worth the wait my man.

I would start over. If you are doing things correctly it should cost about 0.50$ to 3.00$ a jar. It only costs me about 2.00$ and i dont reuse my foil tops and I burn through lysol, iso, and sanitizers.

You put them outside under a deck. Then they were covered in rain. Contamination? Definitely

If you have severe depression, you do not need to take anything more than a gram or two at most, but really you shouldn't be self medicating at all. When you trip your emotions tend to amplify, and that includes the negative ones. I'm a masochist so I like being terrified while I'm tripping, but I'm a little imbalanced. But when you feel sad or depressed, you can start getting some VERY bad and VERY permanent ideas to make it stop.

Seek counselling/therapy, talk to your family about your mental health needs; I'm telling you, its very important. I have a lot of anger issues to this day because I never reached out for help when I was younger and chose to self medicate instead. Its not how I wanna be but its very difficult for me to put aside the emotion in the moment.

If you are serious about this, do your parents a favor and at least set it up outside somewhere. You can keep it low key, off the property and no one would be the wiser and it would be pretty easy.

Keep reading, keep learning, get some help, feel free to PM me if you need to talk some shit out.

Ive tried therapy, pretty much everything my dude..im prescribed zoloft and klonopin rn i really just dont like reality is what it boils down to, hell when I get desperate I od on benadryl and thats sad even worse I enjoy it even though its a horrible trip so I guess being terrified gets me off too I love morbid shit, for everyones information im done growing in my moms house after this, I wasnt going to do it again but I had the already purchased material around so I couldnt refuse and I honestly have like a .5%  chance of getting busted seems I dont have a criminal background live in a nice neighborhood and dont talk to anyone besides my gf so my actions are very lowkey, im moving to toronto soon ill do my thing there..in the meantime i might try some outdoor tek preferably one that doesnt involve growing from shit if possible

He's just giving you the hard truth. Everyone who is in jail because of a woman said the same thing "Never my girl, she wouldn't go there."

This isn't like getting popped with a pot plant in your backyard, this is hardcore. If she's a raging alcoholic then she needs to be completely in the dark. At least 5 years in lock up. Thats the risk you take doing this. You have to make peace with that before you even mix a jar and be very fucking wary. Its not just the people you think you can trust, its who they will tell, and everyone tells someone else. THAT person can figure out its you and rat you out for the hell of it. Cultivators take pride in the work, not the status. Not saying your in it to look cool, just understand that the advice given out here isn't going to soft-shoe the issue. We are, at heart, scientists. Clear, concise and to the point information is better than gold to most of us.

He's not being a dick. There are tons of threads along the lines of "I'm facing 15 years in prison, I thought I could trust her, I loved her."

Real life is harsh. Your existential crisis is pretty much on point. It gets better once you can see the liberation and joy of a meaningless life

Cause she may be ride or die, and she may feel guilty about it at first, but she'll be over it before you get close to having freedom again
And two years is not a long relationship.

Real talk, bruh.

Dating someone 2 years is not a long time, especially if you dont live together every day for those 2 years.

Someone here was recently set up by a family friend of 15 years.

Boston George, set up by an elementary school friend and ex-business partner of over 25+ years!

Your own mother stabbed you in the back after telling you shes cool. Have you known her two years? Lol

Dont trust anyone and get ready to spend a long time in prison.

By the way, white kids using 'bruh' or other "urban" vernacular is a quick way to lose respect from anyone who hears it. White people have the surfer 'brah' and even that is pretty bad. Don't co-opt culture.
And before anyone calls me racist, I can assume he's white from his name, avatar, and the lack of fear of his mother.

This doesn't imply white, it implies American.
