Damn man that sucks. I would definitely say their ruined, but in the ones that didn't get too much extra moisture you might be okay. I read extra moisture just congregates at the bottom making the bottom take longer to colonize. Now if they are all looking flooded there's probably no hope.

Cant you just stash them in a cupboard or somewhere similar as for those that got rained on they did literally. Good Luck but don't keep your hopes up

Throw them away. You're putting an unwilling person at risk so you can get high. That's fucked up.

Those are garbage, man. Even without the ethical implications, the water in the jars is filled with contaminants from dripping off the patio into the jars. I mean they are probably cram packed with all kinds of nasty.

What I mean is, rain captures contaminant spores and pollen and all sorts of microbes that float freely through the air as it falls. So any rain water that is in your jar is filled with contams, and also it had to hit your patio first before it dripped into the jars so you know it's just filled with stuff you don't want.

Why are you mad and calling me names honestly? Do you know me or my mom? No..You're level of concern shouldn't be this high, and I'm pretty sure I'd take the fall for it..you just want to look like a good samaritan in public and you'll never fall into that category by calling someone you don't know an inconsiderate duesch, shut up.  Someone should throw you out.

Yeah I thought of that..what if they still fully colonize and grow does that mean they shouldnt be consumed?

As long as mold isn't on the fruit bodies they are safe to eat. According to trusted cultivators.

First of all, and perhaps most importantly, that's not how to spell "douche"

Secondly you need to understand why we are hesitant to help someone who demonstrates a lack of maturity when it comes to this stuff. It's a lot of fun but it's no joke, this shit can be dangerous.

So when we see someone who is desperate to save a couple cakes, even though he's been advised to throw them out and get another ten dollar spike, it throws up all kinds of red flags.

Is it possible for them to colonize and be safe to eat? Yes, it is possible. But is it worth the risk? Do some research on what tainted mushrooms can do to you, then make the decision for yourself.

We're all telling you to toss them but you're looking for someone to give you the go ahead anyway. I don't think many people in this community are going to do that.

There is a learning curve to this hobby, and that means money spent without a physical return sometimes. But you get knowledge. If you just want to skip to the end, get $40 and buy some.

This ain't like growing pot

I'm done trying to be "right." I want the exchange of ideas to be the currency of my economy. If you have something I can use, great. I'll try it out. If you think my methods are shit, great. Don't use it. We all want yields.

 you can tell mushrooms that shouldn't be eaten. If they colonize(which I'm sure they won't) I would say the fruit body's should be good to eat
