Yea that's why you're having trouble. Fruiting off of 100% rye is not ideal. You're supposed to mix your spawn (rye) with a pasteurized (heated to 140-160 for 1 hour) substrate like manure, straw, coir, vermiculite, etc. That will expand the culture and provide moisture so your mushrooms can fruit.
I'm really surprised that a company would tell you to try to fruit your rye. Are you sure you are reading the instructions properly? Or is there other stuff in that bag of rye? Pics would help.

Oh ok I see. Yea you just bought a spawn bag, not a ready to go grow-kit. You should also delete those links or the mods will get angry.
I think you should create a monotub and spawn to bulk. In a nutshell you will mix the rye with substrate, put it into a tub, let it colonize, then introduce fruiing conditions.
Read this, you can start at step 5: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19792837
Here is also a good link for a coir substrate: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11916595

You can find coir at your local pet store being sold as reptile bedding. Look for brands like eco earth or exoterra. They are sold in compressed bricks. Cubes tend to fruit from areas of lower nutrition. Grain is extremely nutritious. You can fruit from straight grain, but it is a waste of time because your yields will be close to nothing.

You will have to wait for the monotub to completely colonize before you try to fruit it. You never want to try to fruit something that is not fully colonized.
