question for the long term kratom users

Now, when I say long term, I don't mean every other day for a month or two. I'm talking to the people who kill a handful of keys a year. For the past 2 years I've averaged at least 10gs a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
My question is... How is your face skin complexion? I was looking at a few pics of myself a few years ago and my skin wasn't that bad. The only thing that has changed is the heavy kratom use. I've even cut out a lot of alcohol and other random drugs...
I have dark circles/ bags under my eyes, I always look tired, my skin color seems to be darker, and my overall complexion looks pretty bad.
I do drink at least 1.5L of water a day and I don't drink soda or a lot od sweets. I'm not taking any sort of drug other than kratom, and I eat somewhat normal. No fast food. Basic meats and veggies.

Darker or redder complexion can be a somewhat common side effect of heavy, long term use of kratom.

You're also 2 years older. I've known many people who don't seem to age much and then rapid change occurs over a short period of time naturally.
Not saying it can't be from the kratom though.

Could be from age... I'm 31 now and not in super great health. I wouldn't say I'm unhealthy, but I also wouldn't say I am healthy.
I am around people who are either my age or older and their complexion looks great.

Nope from the kratom I had the black circles under my eyes from certain strong strains and I'd be WELL rested. like 10 hours of sleep! It has it's side effects as much as most of people on here want to deny that.

I have been eating 10+ grams a day for 2 years now. I don't have any noticeable side effects or health conditions. The only down side for me is withdraws if I quit taking it and it doesn't hit me as hard as it used to. However, I feel better knowing that I am not popping pills anymore. My liver must be happier.

I'd never heard of the dark rings but it doesn't really surprise me since it can already affect the complexion in a couple of different ways.

Wonderful.....has actually appeared healthier over the years that i've been using the leaf. Could also be from the improvement in my diet though .

I've heard this before, but there's never been any actual proof/reasoning or sources backing this up, or the mechanism of why this happens. Talk to those that live where it grows and eat the stuff daily for most of their lives, as well as longterm users here in the states....no one has experienced a darkening or reddening of the skin .

I've noticed my skin slightly darkening. That's the only side effect I've noticed so far. Been using for close to three years now. Go through a kilo in about two to three months.
