Hey guys, need some help. Don't know what this is.
Where metabolite drops at the beginning of the fruting. And the mycelium was weaker, now it covered 100% of the surface and the new "yellow stuff" showed up yesterday. Contam?
I took two pics. cause with flash it looks worse than it is.

In the second pic there is a large white fluffy mass just to the left of the center of the tub. If that is not a piece of polyfill that somehow got dropped there...Deathray that tub and get it outta your grow area.
I do not fuck around with bacterial or otherwise compromised tubs. Not worth potential cross contamination and floor/tub space is too valuable to be wasted on a substrate that will have a low Biological efficiency.
Good luck to you sir.

Thanks, didn't notice it. It was a polyfill. Dropped down from the lid (it has a hole in the middle of it, IKEA).
So you would toss it out?

Looks like it's just myc piss. It does that when it gets hot. Not gonna hurt anything, but your mushies would be much happier in a cooler room.

Thats almost 80F, and the sub. is few degrees higher right? I remember RR wrote that after 80F the mycelium decreases at grow.

My conversion showed 76-77F. But that's besides the point. I fruit in 80-85F they grow in fields over 90F. Cubes are quite forgiving.
