Misting trays while fruiting Q

Hi there, quick and simple question, looking for peoples experience on the matter, for ive heard multiple answers.
I have a small tub fruiting 2 seperate trays, they are both pinning very well. Got decent size pins now, everything looks very healthy.
I can now see the substrate pulling away from the tray edges, so im assuming its lost a little water. (this is 1st flush)
QUESTION: Should I mist lightly-moderately the substrate, to allow it to absorb water as it fruits? The mycelium can absorb water as it fruits id imagine? This would extend the 1st flush capacity? (just to make sure it doesnt run out of water while its growing this first flush, get larger fruits?)
THANKS FOR ANY INPUT, IM AWARE THAT WAS KINDA A MULTI Q but you get the point.

I find myself needing to do this every eight or so hours. Is that a problem or is that OK? My sub stayed pretty moist after I introduced FAE but it has since been drying out now that the fastest of my shrooms are beginning to mature.
