...of course its a reshi..but by any chance is this reshi Ganoderma curtisii??.and is this type of reshi  rare and valuable??...most importantly how should i go about collecting a print orliqiud culture?...,this lightly coloured reshi was found under a huge maple in southwest ohio...there were a total of 6 that I found all together growing out of the ground? How long do they grow for and when should I pick them?

Looks a bit more like Ganoderma sessile ( G.resinaceum sensu N.America) if so you are in luck, they are wicked easy to clone to agar.

Orange red is the color of the mature mushroom, they can look brown if they get a coating of spores. They will grow for as long as there are the proper conditions and nutrients.
