Will My Grains Dry Out??

Hey, everyone. I ended up soaking some wheat berries for 12 hours and then did a boil and let them dry a bit. After going through with all of that I ended up realizing that the RTV on my lids has yet to dry. I'm wondering if the grains will still be good to go in another 12 hours or so?
All help is appreciated. Thanks!

I'd jar them, and just cover the top until your lids are ready. They should be fine though. I wouldn't leave them out drying for 12 hours though.

Soaking the grains longer will be fine, 12 hours is the minimum IMO, and it will help them retain more moisture, I'd go for it!

I'd say the same thing, but he already simmered and dried them.

Hmmm that's true.
Wouldn't the RTV be able to harden in the PC, I've heard of other people doing that with success.

Thanks for the suggestions, fellas. I went ahead and loaded up the jars. I am definitely curious as to whether or not it's safe to PC the jars with the RTV still not cured. I mean, they have to cool for 12 hours after PC'ing as is.
