NOTE: This ones cap is off colored because of rain im assumed. The rest are dark brown like the outsides of this one.
Habitat: Horse dung/pasture. Only older specimens with some mid-sized grass around them.
Gills: Dark purple/black
Stem: Long and kinda swirly. Tanish beige. Starting to get darker now after picked.
Cap: Small, brown and slimey. Had a nipple in middle. Convex. Also had the classic membrane skin you can peel off the cap.
Spore print color: printing now, but based off of my hands... purple/black
Bruising: Darker brown/blue
Other information: Few days of heavy rain and now every piece of dry dung with grass around it had these everywhere.

Any pics of the bruising? i can see where you're coming from but i'm 60/40 in favor of Deconica sp. as apposed to Psilocybe sp.
Any more photos?

Theyre everywhwre ill post more pics tomorrow. i gathered enough today to test run as well. so i might snack in a few days to try it out. i really feel as tho they are p semis due to the skin layer you can peel off of them. theyre not pans. i find a lot of them near these. theyre nice but these could possibly be better.

This is definitely not a Panaeolus sp.
It looks like either a Deconica or a Psilocybe. Did you check for pellicle? Did it grow directly on dung, could you provide pictures?
You write "bruising: darker brown/blue" - could you take pictures of the bluing?
A slight chance this could be one of the smaller Hypholoma sp., especially if there were slightly boggy and mossy areas in that pasture.

Please do! If possibly go back where you find them, and take pictures in situ. From the younger to the older, take loads of pictures. If attached to/growing from poop, include that as well.

Please don't, in case this is something interesting. How many specimens have you got?

I don't believe this is P. semilanceata. It is possibly an active Psilocybe though.

I will post blue bruising pics on the next batch i pick. these are from today. i forgot to take bruising pics and dehydrated them. i believe some of these are pan cinct since i find a lot in my area and have tripped before on them. but the slimey brown ones are definitely not pans.

I am trying to seperate these from the pans as i dehydrate them. If we can figure out if theyre active then it wont matter, but ill send a picture of my dried specimens so you can see te amount i found in two days. This is only from my horse pasture. I didnt venture into the cow pasture yet. Cubes dont grow here in PA so it doesnt make too much of a difference anyway.

and it seems most hyphs only grown on dead trees. these were in actual horse dung pieces. there are some swampy areas but these were only in the dryer regions and in the dryer dung. a lot near the running water.

do you think the beiger specimens are pans? because they bruise extremely blue. most of the pan cincts i find are much larger tho and grow more so under grass in dirt/dung mix than direct turds.

I honestly don't think they are bruising blue. It might just be the purplish-brown spores.

Post pictures of the bluing. None of your finds look like Panaeolus cinctulus.

Thought so, thanks for updating the pics. My first thought was Deconica. I have seen a few like this before. They are the same species but the name was given to differ between inactive non bruising psilocybe that's why they look a like.
Least you got some cincts and learned in the process.
edit: wait i'm lost i've seen no cincts either on these pics? if you mean on them photos above they're all the same mushroom or you got more?
