Psilocybins effect on physical healing

I have recently acquired some full thickness burns on my hands and stomach after a fireball explosion in my kitchen. Not fun at all. However the Ketamine they gave me in the ambulance on the way to the sick bay was such a beautiful, remarkable and pronounced experience. He sank me into that 'hole' really good..
I'm wondering if anyone has any information regarding what effect taking Psilocybin will heave on my healing process? I've tried to have a look around for some but can't find very much at all...
Any information would be great thanks as I feel I may as well be utilising my time at home by myself every day.
Cheers

You mean will it help you heal or will it make it feel better? Could be the former, not likely the latter as tripping with pain is an amplification generally...

Nah I meant if they will inhibit my healing or not. Got to get back to work ASAP as I have run out of sick leave and holidays.

I doubt it'd inhibit your healing process.

Nahh, just keep dosing for months so you are in a comatose state and do not move at all, that will help.

If I cut my finger, and rub freshly powdered cubes into it, what do you think the effect will be concerning the damaged area?

Good point.
I'll rephrase: "MY freshly powdered cubes". I do not feed mine shit.

Oh yeah lol. Sorry I forgot most of you will grow your own in substrate that isn't cow dung... That used to be how I got my cubes, from cow paddocks.

Well you have to consider mycelium fights bacteria and other mold usually. I mean, if you bite into uncooked meat, you might get sick because animals often coexist with bacteria.
But mycelium and bacteria usually fight against each other for the food source. Plus if a cube was able to fruit off, it means it at least has the majority of the food source. If it was heavily contaminated, the mycelium would never be able to gather enough energy to be able to grow mushrooms.
So even if it did grow off of dung, you should be A-okay. Mushrooms probably have much less bacteria than anything you eat on a daily basis.
But the reason why I doubt they'd inhibit your healing is because they don't effect those parts of your body. Psilocybin doesn't effect most physical parts of your body, it effects the 5-HTA serotonin receptor. Psilocybin actually doesn't cause much physical change to your body. LSD can cause an increased heart rate, blood pressure, and vasoconstriction, albeit 100% safe at any normal dose.
I'd consider psilocybin safer than water. But you might feel any pain or discomfort more, as psychedelics usually increase your senses. It's just much easier to focus on a physical discomfort while tripping.

i think he means spirit as a vehicle being fueled by mushrooms then carrying him to a place of physical healing.

There's different species of mushrooms other than psychedelic ones. Many mushrooms can help the healing process.
If he tripped while hurt, then physically nothing will be harmed. But if he still had discomfort/pain on his burns, than it could change the aspect of his trip. Or he could become more focussed on the pain and just not have a good time.

Yeah it wouldn't be real nice constantly focusing on my pain I guess. Thanks all, I didn't really think about that too much...
