Astral projection or seizures?

So I've been practicing astral projection since I was like 12-13. I got pretty good at it around when I turned 14ish. The way it always happens for me is, iIlay down to sleep, feel my body get heavy, i blank my mind out as much as possible and feel euphoria that is stronger than any drug ever.
I follow the flow of euphoria and as I do my body becomes more and more distant. I slowly won't feel myself breathing in my sleep, which sometimes can startle me into awakening. If I don't wake up I either feel my body get pulled into heaven, hell, or the farthest reaches an imagination can take you.
Recently however when I lay down to sleep its a much more frightening experience. I will lay down, trance my mind into blankness, and wait. Pretty soon my body becomes heavy, and i feel the euphoria. If I follow this euphoria I feel my breath fading away slowly and start to think. Is this a seizure? I feel the sleep paralysis attempting to take hold, and will panic and try to wake myself up.
To wake from paralysis its pretty much a massive effort to move any limb until I feel it, then jolt awake. As of lately it seems as though I am shaking my limbs uncontrollably to wake myself up, then I am exhausted and out of breath. I have never had a seizure in my life, so I have no clue what one would feel like.
So I ask any of you who have had one, what does it feel like? Is there a euphoria that comes along with seizures? Does this sound at all like I might be seizing in my sleep? Any response is greatly appreciated.

Idk shitty explanation of astral projection i know, i wasn't really trying to go in depth as to what i would describe one as. More or less explaining the fact that as of lately I've been wondering if there is ANY similarity between the two. I guess the sleep paralysis is just getting to my head more lately, that and i think my exploding head syndrome is back. I had it for a couple months a few years ago.
But what would you describe astral projection as? When i project i either use lucid dreams as a platform to get there. Sometimes it happens as soon as i lay my head down, and sometimes its hours into sleep I'll project for a bit then wake up.
But yeah the more i think of it i think its paralysis getting to my head. One thing that freaked me out was i talked to a coworker, and she said her seizures don't involve shaking, but she just trances out real hard for a minute out of nowhere. One time she had one, and i didn't even realize it she says "i just had a seizure". I say "really?" "Yeah i almost didnt notice but i saw you looking at me weird but sometimes i just space out...." and i honestly don't remember what else she said about them. But i didn't even give a weird look, but didn't wanna look lile an ass and say i didn't notice you seizing out over there.
The shaking is probably more just intense hypnagogic jerks now that i think of it.
