I am a mushroom hunter and one of my p. cyan patches is going to be destreoyed by consturction. Is there any way I could transplant these so I can enjoy them next year? They are growing in woodchips so I thought I could take a large portion of the chips and they could grow else where? Any help would be greatly apprectated.

What you are proposing is called mining and can be accomplished with care. I have no first-hand experience, but I have heard of this being done successfully.
Try to remove a large section of the patch, disturbing it as little as possible, and transport it in a box (or two) or something similarly stable to its new home where hopefully you can match the conditions of the original patch.
Cross your fingers.
Seems I've heard alder chips are yummy to cyans, if you feel like helping out with some fresh food.

I really think it would be much longer than 2 weeks if you took the print and placed it there....anyways Im not sure if this would work...but I would just dig up a big amount of dirt where the patch grows and find a new place where you think it would be similar to its last habitat...and then just pray to god it works.

You can collect the colonized chips and transfer them to a different location. If you disturb them, doesn?t matter, they will regrow till the next year.
If you want to do it better, add at least double the amount of colonized chips with fresh hardwood or spruce or Douglas fir chips.
