Any trick to avoiding condensation in slants?
Thanks!

It will usually absorb back into the agar in a few days. The other day I had a plate I wanted to use right away so I currently have it tilted to one side, so the tissue I transferred is in the centre on normal agar, while the excess moisture is all gathered around the lower edge.
If there is loads of moisture I will open the plate in a SAB and pour it off. I would have it tilted first to let it gather in one point.

yea, tilt it before inoculating if all else fails.
i let mine cool for a good long time in the PC, because thats going to hold warmth a lot longer, and let it go more slowly than outside the PC. after i bag them up, ill put both slants and plates next to a room heater or sunny window sill to stay kinda warm and that seems to help prevent condensation too.
i use 12g agar per 500ml for slants too, makes em stiffer (possibly helps with condensation over time/re-absorbtion, but not sure, its just the story i tell myself). also way easier to cut out a small wedge from a slant when the media itself is stiffer with more agar.

Good tip.
Been wanting to use end of boil cycle grain water to generate culture slants out of completing the culturing media trifecta hopefully possible with end of boil cycle grain water. Have yet to try it due to fear of failure. That, and I am between labs with the current lab set up being in straight peril, and nothing that can be done about it.
Guess there ain't nothing to it, but to run through that open door, and lock it tight behind me when the chance arises again.

That was your problem right there. Pulling the slants out of the PC while they are still hot generates a huge temperature differentiation between the outside, and inside of the media vessel creating copious amounts of condensation. Allow the slants to cool in front of hood once they are able to be handled, or leave them in the PC until the sterilization unit is cooled to room temperature.
