Jesus! So I inoculated my first jars last tonight guys and it's so much harder than it looks. I had a glove box but it was too hard with my gloves and the box to actually use the box. I was so nervous. Using the syringe was another challenge in itself, either I was not pushing hard enough or I was pushing too hard. Then I realized that I forgot to sterilize the syringe between each jar, however I did do it initially.I just hope that out of the ten jars I made that hopefully not all of them are fucked up.I used my bathroom since it was the only small space I had.I Lysol the fuck out of the room.I had gloves and hand sanitizer.I'm so nervous, but even if i fucked it up I can improve drastically.

First of all breathe. It's gonna be ok bro.
Secondly you're better off inoculating your jars in your kitchen or bedroom compared to the bathroom. Bathrooms are disgusting and all the lysol isn't gonna cut it. I've had great success inoculating in open air in my kitchen. Just make sure you turn off all your fans. I spray the surrounding air with water to catch any dust.
The syringe thing is normal. You'll get the hang of it. However it is very important to flame in between jars so good luck!
I'd suggest doing another batch of jars if you can just in case anything goes wrong with this batch. I'm not saying that it will but better to be safe then sorry. Congrats on your first Pf Tek!

A glove box is okay, but a SAB is the best to use IMO. Just get a large bin from Walmart and cut two big holes in it. Then spray it down good with lysol and let it sit for a bit. It's much easier to work with and you'll have less contamination issues.

Take the gloves off of that thing if they're attached to the box. (read the links in my signature: how frank gets shit done preferably. he writes about still air boxes articulately)
I hardly use lysol anymore since I started using soapy water. You just wipe down your still air box with a wet/soapy paper towel, and leave it wet while you inoculate. Contams supposedly stick to the soapy water. Has helped my contam issues immensely since I started using soapy water (remember anti-bacterial soap is likely preferable)
It helps build confidence if you do some 'dry runs' in your still air box.(SAB) Just rehearse the procedure with empty jars and syringes so that you can focus on the proper technique in a stress free scenario
