BLUE DREAM SATIVA HYBRID

Hello, I have a plant started from seed. The seeds are from a hermaphrodite plant. The plant is a female that just started budding and it is outdoors in a pot. I started feeding it the purple power plant food. Anyone have experience with this stuff? I live in Colorado so I'm not worried about the amount I get from it. I only grew it because it is legal. Just wondering about the purple power food I started feeding it. Sorry no pics for now.

It's my experience that while hermaphrodite plants produce some potent weed, the seeds also produce more hermaphrodite plants. I dont know where this idea that they will produce all female plants come from, I've only ever gotten more hermis.

Just asking a question, because I've heard different things.
But what makes a bud purple, is it combining/multiple factors?
Or is it simply not getting the right light, making it purple?

From what I understand, it is supposed to be exposure to lower than normal temps.

Some plants are just genetically purple or have purple tones. I have seen all purple nugs or just purple sugar leaves and green nug like purple urkle.
I know plants can artificially be turned purple from exposure to low temps at the end of the growing period.
I figure that it would have more of a chance of turning purple from underfeeding than feeding some food called purple power :P Seen all sorts of beautiful colors when flushing.

Yep, and on the bottle of plant food there is a disclaimer stating it may or may not happen, my concern was if anyone had used the product and what where the results Not a major concern due to the state I live in and so on.

Everything this guy said.... Genetics are a main factor. Also, cold temps greatly slow nutrient uptake and bring out the purpke colors.

This strain I made. We call her "the purp" but it only purples up in the cold...
