it's said that people tend to mellow out as they get older.
have you grown more calm as you've aged? what coping skills do you feel you have developed over the years? or do you feel that you've gotten worse when it comes to dealing with life's ever-increasing list of difficulties as time drags on?
i would say that in some ways i have grown, but in some critical areas of my life i still find it extremely difficult to deal with, particularly in areas of sociability. some of this may be attributed to changes in brain structure and neuronal pathways, but i don't have a brain scan to definitively say so, just symptoms to go by.

'too': too sensitive, too intense, too driven, too honest, too idealistic, too moral, too perfectionistic, too much for other people!

I'm getting more angry and bitter with age, like MilkDud's G-ma.

I think there is a curve....you get laid back until your mid 50's then you just get grumpier as the years go on. I mean, look at Zappa. ...perfect example although I have doubts that he was ever mellow. lol
