I am no expert so a TI can clear this up, but my opinion is that they are Galerina marginata. Definitely do not eat

thanks, that is what i feared so did not save.  i think i am color blind, some part of me was trying to convince myself that they are bruised blue from all the traffic in park(is that blue bruising on stems, gills, cap edges?).  on another note, wondering if i should notify parks and rec of possible danger under foot of kids, toddlers, and babies....

They can bruise but they bruise a DARKER brown than the color of the shroom, hence why they can sometimes give an illusion of bruising dark blue/black when in reality they are just bruising dark dark brown. Also, the spore print you have is a marvelous indicator of it being a clearly non active species.

Indeed it could be wise to advise the authorities but in my personal opinion it may be a lot quicker to simply pull these out, mycellium and all, to stop the regrowth. We all know how long the council can take to act on things .

A more experienced forum user may be able to shed more light on this situation, I am still a rookie myself
