Habitat: city park in Denver, growing among ground juniper. found cluster of 3 fruits. the one really large fruit was found on the other side of the park. (I took a print of the big one and tossed it out cuzz it was full of bugs - print was brown.)
Gills: pink to brown
Stem: 2"-4", 1/2"-1", white, solid
Cap: 3"-7", white, some flattened brown scales on white background
Spore print color: dark brown

Bruising: stems bruised bright yellow when cut for cleaning. bases of stems have deepened to reddish/brown color.
Other information: smells like a mushroom
these pics were taken fresh after picking 1-2 days ago

pics from today. some colors have faded, yellow bruising is less pronounced then when fresh.

fresh cuts to show yellow bruising - was much more pronounced when fresh 2 days ago - like bright yellow

Those are meadow mushrooms. Agaricus Campestris?
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

No, they are not Agaricus campestris, more likely Agaricus xanthodermus if they were staining bright yellow when fresh.

looks like you have found it! looked up pics and the yellow bruising looks very similar to that yellow I had when fresh.
its apparently only poisonous to some, but I'm not gonna risk it. thanks for the help!

Even if they don't make you sick, they smell and taste horrible, I'm not sure how anyone could enjoy eating them... That works in reverse too, some people can not eat some of the edible Agaricus.
