To me it looks like some Anadenanthera, maybe Anadenanthera colubrina (cebil), or Anadenanthera perigrina (yopo).

http://fractal.fractalenlighten.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/anadenanthera.jpg

Both's seeds do contain DMT derivates, Cebil mainly 5-HO-DMT = Bufotenin (up to 12%), Yopo contains Bufotenin, too, but also 5-MeO-DMT.

Though it does resemble Anadenanthera peregrina I have seen acacia species that look just like that as well...

Yopo is a rough way to get your DMT, they toast the seeds, mix in some lime or powdered sea-shell then load the blend into a tube where around 1tablespoon is shot into the nostril, now having this person blow a tablespoon of this rough powder up your nose feels like getting hit in the face with a 2x4, you fall back, your eyes tear and swell, your sinusus feel like they are going to explode, then they sit you up and do it again through the other nostril....its a rough way to get your DMT....

Acacia nilotica is native to that area, but would be easy to identify as symbiote ants burrow holes which cause a "whistleing" sound.

Look through the list of acacias from that area....

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vachellia_nilotica

This page lists several other species from that region

Some types of acacia trees only produce DMT's  and tryptamines at certain times of the year. Other kinds produce types of phytotoxins that get broken down in body, like hydrogen cyanide. .. and yet others are not active at all. I wish you luck in keying out the species you photoed. At the very least it is nice white pom-pom flowers.  Does it have thorns? sometimes things like thorns or absence of them can help in identification. Also, the seed pod shape.. long bean? curled.. etc. the seed size and shape too., as well as leaves, and their shape.

Good luck.
Kizatz.

According to this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vachellia_nilotica

Nilotica has bright yellow flowers, flowers in picture are white. Seed pods are hairy and a white-grey color..yours are brown

There's all kinds of look alike's in the plant world.

Take this Golden Leadball tree for example..."Leucaena retusa" - not an Acacia...but it sure looks like one.

I only have some minor experience with Anadenanthera, but as I have experimented with it about two months ago it was the first plant that came to my mind.
Sure it can be some kind of acacia, but I don't know much about these, though. They do look very similar indeed.

If it's some Anadenanthera (what I do not believe anymore because of the location) do this:

Just roast the seeds in a pot untill they pop open, then you can remove the brown outer-shell of the seeds. The yellow core smells a bit like popcorn / mealies, if it really is Anadenanthera spp.

Blend the seed-cores to a fine yellow powder, mix it with tobacco or marihuana and smoke it. Bufotenin / 5-HO-DMT is a smokable tryptamine with moderate visual effects starting 5-10min after smoking, lasting about an hour max.

A big joint of 3-4 seeds would be more than enough to feel if something's going on or not!

It's likely some kind of Acacia, it's not an Anadenanthera.

But "likely" does not mean it is, so get a positive ID before going further.

Sorry I can't help more, wish there were more members tryin' to help ya out. :frown:

So i followed the tek that i posted above from dmt-nexus
bake the seeds - grind em - add sodium - bake again - soak in alchol - filter - soak again - filter then bake.

And this what came:

It was off white/beige color before trying to get it off the pan.
Then this color (i think i should have used pyrex or something)

What do you think.

What do I think about what?

You're attempting this with an unidentified plant.
You have no idea what kind of tree it is.

I think it's reckless, honestly. And that you should throw that out, or set it aside until you know what you're ingesting.

Acacia, mimosa, anadenthera, etc...all related....

You want a good extraction Tek for acacia confusa root bark try "thicklights ACRB Tek" or "cybs hybrid ATB salt TEK" follow them exactly and you shouldn't fail....

Try a reagent test on an ethanol soak of your suspect plant to test for indoles, Ehrlich's reagent should do it...

You know you can buy Acacia confusa rootbark online right? This way you know your species, and your extracts are way less of a gamble.....

Acacia confusa is great, but if you can obtain mimosa hostillis root-bark its a bit more simple to extract (ACRB requires an extra defat step due to plant lipids and NMT)

There's even a plant called "desmanthus illinoensis" which can be grown fairly easily in most areas, the root bark contains decent ammounts of DMT. Seeds are available online.

You can buy anadenthera pergrina seeds online as well.

I really want fresh  "virola theidora" bark, it contains a deep red resin which is collected, this resin contains DMT and other tryptamines, its known as "oo-koo-hey" by some of the natives....in "true hallucinations" mckenna and his party were originally seeking this compound.
Though I have not been able to find a reliable vendor for this species, I have found vendors claiming to sell virola theidora resin, but don't know if they can be trusted.....may have to take a trip to the amazon to obtain this one....
