Question about 1 day festival tickets
    #21854182 - 06/25/15 08:43 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Does a one day festival pass mean that you have to leave at night or can you leave the next day? I've never seen people checking wristbands at this one but I don't know. It's 4 days, I only want to go for one day, trip & have fun but obviously can't leave later that day. So I was going to leave the next day sometime.

One day pass.

Not one day, one night and a morning.

Do they come and hunt you down if you don't leave? Sounds like a pretty unworkable scenario.

one day pass implies one day in the music area tho. most fests make you pay for camping separately now

bc people are realizing how much money they can make on festivals

the festival bubble has popped. MOST fests these days dont give a fuck about the integrity of the event at all, they just wanna throw together any festival and overprice everything and make a profit

theres only so many fests who truly give a fuck anymore

and its why im only doing one festival this summer. im sick of this bullshit. ive never seen such a bad festival season. the lineups this year are fucking embarassing

Typically they check your wristband going to and from the campgrounds from the rest of the venue. People do sneak in often though

Thanks for the replies guys. I've been to this one before & I know that once you get in through the main entry where they initially stop you to check your ticket & put on your wristband there is only one other "checkpoint" where they make you stop & that is right before you enter the parking lot so you can pay for parking. After you park, the camping & venue area is very close to the parking lot so you're free to walk in & out of the parking area & back to the camping/venue area as many times as you want without them stopping you again.

I'd stay the whole 4 days if it wasn't for work.

exactly! festivals are never organized enough to stop people like us. these events happen once a year per a venue for the most part and most workers are volunteers just tryin to get free tix. be cool and they will to you

one year at camp bisco my whole crew got VIP for free just by giving the guy at the gate free doses. like out of the 12 of us only 3 actually bought VIP

where theres a will, theres a way

Usually the one days are for Sunday (or the last day) only so they don't care if you camp or crash in your car. They arnt getting ripped off and the area doesn't have a bunch of f'ed up drivers going home at 3 am.

Really depends.  Some fests lock you in the music area and you have to show a multiday wristband to get back into the camping area.  Sucks balls as you can't go to camp to party/eat/rest so you basically are forced to roast in the sun all day.  Some lock you out of the music area after your day but you can chill the remainder of the time in camping.  I really agree with Bassfreak that festivals have gone to the shitter mostly.  Just look at the electric forest lineup.  That is fucking HORRIBLE.  EDM and the douche bags / teenie boppers that come with it have seriously ruined the scene at most festivals.  Good thing I can pretty much see everyone in Colorado multiple times a year :lolsy:.  Really, the only festival I would go out of state is Camp because people at Camp know how to rage and rage in a relatively safe manner but still at max raging.  Interested to see how this new venue works out.  People in a k-hole + pool is basically asking for a lawsuit but what do I know.
