Species 1 Habitat: Grass/Scrub around the beach in Dunedin
Gills: Were a pale colour but now seems distinct blue? unsure if attached or detached
Stem: Kinda thick, has a hollow center, white/cream/light brown
Cap: 10c - 50c NZ coins size, conical, has much bruising on them, were a golden/tan colour. bigger sizes seem to begin flattening out
Spore print color: Dont know how to do this
Bruising: Could see blue bruising before being picked, has continued to bruise
Other information: Were a little frozen from recent frosts, havent sniffed them so cant give a smell. Much bruising on cap, little bit on stems.

Species 2 (assumed different) Habitat: Grass/Scrub around the beach in Dunedin
Gills: Older looking mushroom, darker tan colour but hard to tell now as found 'old' but with what seems distinct blue bruising.
Stem: Kinda thick, has a hollow center, white/cream/light brown
Cap: large flat top, about ping pong ball diameter
Spore print color: Dont know how to do this
Bruising: Could see blue bruising before being picked, has continued to bruise especially stem and gills. some visible around top edge
Other information: Were a little frozen from recent frosts, havent sniffed them so cant give a smell. Much bruising on cap, little bit on stems. These look quite different to the conical ones in the first post but them edges of the cap have blue bruising, and where the stem has broken from the cap on the larger one is distinctly blue. Also most of the gills, while darker in colour have a distinct blue bruising over them.

I agree with Inski. I was going to say that but I read the post wrong and didn't see that you had 2 species listed and assumed you didn't find 2 active species growing together.
Nice find!
