I'm not sure if anybody will be able to share this with me, but I'm curious if anyone gets it. Possibly one of the scariest sounds of my life, if the sound of the void. The sound as you begin to breakthrough and you begin to hear nothing, the long droany noise that gets lower and quiter. Anyone get that too?

At times when I have music playing in the background I can hear how the music slows down or speeds up. Sometimes I can even control this in some ways, always feels like I am controlling time at that point. If no music is playing then yes the overall sounds I hear becomes less because there is just so much happening lol.

the sound and the fury. I used to call it after the Hemingway novel. I've heard it too, but for me there are stages that kind of end up in the low frequency as the final one before I get pushed off the cosmic cliff and fall into the ocean of EVERYTHING/nothing.

I recall it as a pitch change, like the sound water makes as it's filling a container. You can pretty much tell from the sound when the cup is full. I'm not sure what my brain is measuring from the sound, but it winds up in frequency until I can't hear it anymore. I've been playing music during my trips lately so I haven't taken notice of it in a long time though.
Music is a huge influence in the trip to me and the visuals are always synced to the rhythm. With a good song that is not going to distract you, music only adds to the stimulation and intricacy IMO. If the 'carrier wave' or silence bothers you, enjoy some music!

I agree it is a pitch change, rather than any kind of new sound.
The interesting about my last DMT trip:
I was listening to music as I hit the pipe and my entire reality changed something almost completely unrecognizable, except the song I was listening to. It sounded pretty much the same as it sounds sober, despite the fact that I was tripping harder than ever in my entire life. How very odd.

I've been experiencing this since I was a we kid without drugs. I still get the experience while on drugs. For me it comes with an OBE. It's a deep swooshing
almost like a helicopter in slow motion, in combination with the feeling of being buried in sand ever so slowly and not being able to do anything but
watch and feel and hear.
I must add that it is wayyy different than the going out feeling from whip its.

Sounds like you're hearing your blood swooshing through your veins. It's apparently pretty common in those deep meditative states.

Nah, I know that feeling too. This one is pretty unexplainable for me. Like I said I have had it occasionally for 30+ years.
