quick question

I'm using pf tek. When pressure canning my jars, how far up the top should I put the water? I can seem to keep water from entering the holes... I have aluminum foil over them as tight as I can get it.

the water should only go up the side of the jar(s) about an inch, but there's a whole video and 20 different people that have posted the exact same PF tek, you should print it off and have it next to you while you do this. or at least watch the video

How about the temperature for the spore syringes? Where should I store those? Is the fridge ok?
