I am a huge chipotle addict... Any chipotle hot sauce or salsa is delicious.
I like em hot, I like em sweet or fruity, I like em every color of the rainbow.
Habenero hot sauces are fucking amazing, so spicy though.
Can't wait to have some fresh homegrown peppers soon to cook up
Homemade hot sauce is the best, shit can get expensive when you eat a small bottle a week like I do...

St patty's day....
If it's spicy I like it just under where it becomes pain on wings etc, heavy things, and tone it down the more delicate the food gets..

i've not tried the brown sugar version but i imagine its pretty awesome.
its the only sauce i've ever had that you knew exactly where it was in your digestive system the whole time

lol, I always get a kick when it's pepper spray initiation and the rookies want water. The water runs down their chest, and goes where it goes.. out of the frying pan and into the fire..

The best hot sauce I have ever had was called "Old Roadie".
It was a datil pepper based sauce out of the St. Petersburg FL area. I put this stuff on everything! Then, a couple of years ago I went to order another case of it and the website is gone. I can't find it anywhere. I would shoot a puppy to get more or to get the recipe.
EDIT: Holy shit I just found it!!! He's selling it on fucking Etsy!
Thank you, God. I didn't even have to shoot a puppy.

Unquestionably the best
-------------------- "I have no way of knowing whether you, who eventually will read this record, like stories or not. If you do not, no doubt you have turned these pages without attention. I confess that I love them. Indeed, it often seems to me that of all the good things in the world, the only ones humanity can claim for itself are stories and music; the rest, mercy, beauty, sleep, clean water and hot food (as the Ascian would have said) are all the work of the Increate. One of my favorites is a sauce I make that's a copycat of the local Mexican restaurants, recipe could probably use a bit of tweaking as I haven't made it in awhile and it's just from memory but
3 or 4 serrano peppers, seed half of them 2 cloves garlic 1/2 - 1 cup of chicken broth
Throw everything in a pot and boil until peppers are soft and there's only 1/4-1/2 cup broth left and then puree.
That doesn't make a whole lot but I don't make big batches. I might of used a little bit of onion and cilantro in it as well. I haven't made it in well over a year.

Making hot sauce is really not all that complicated. I make habanerro oil to make viniagrette dressing The by product gets turned into hot sauce. I gotta hit up my buddys who have gardens, They always grow too many pepper plants. I think if all of them pitched in all the extra peppers they grew I could make about five galons of some bomb ass sauce.

Been there many times. The hot sauce they use is Frank's Red Hot. That is used straight for mild wings. The hotter ones they just add some Tabasco. The key to a good wing sauce is the vinegar. That is what gives the bite you get in your nose when you inhale over a bowl.

Yeah tabasco can suck mah balls...
I like Tapatio and Frank's Red Hot for some generic tastyish hot sauce, but not very much heat. Franks is the best sauce for wings though IMO, just because of taste. With some habenero mixed in for more heat.
Much prefer habenero hot sauces or hotter. I don't particularly have a favorite.. there's so many different kinds I've tried that I like. I really gotta try making my own one of these days...
Oh... and Sriracha. Love that shit.
The hot sauce I use really depends on what foods it's being used on

Already mentioned, El Yucateco is fantastic and found at most grocery stores. It's not vinegar based so it has a nice, thick consistency. Also, packed with flavor! They have a chipotle sauce too.
