One of my favorites is a sauce I make that's a copycat of the local Mexican restaurants, recipe could probably use a bit of tweaking as I haven't made it in awhile and it's just from memory but
3 or 4 serrano peppers, seed half of them 2 cloves garlic 1/2 - 1 cup of chicken broth
Throw everything in a pot and boil until peppers are soft and there's only 1/4-1/2 cup broth left and then puree.
That doesn't make a whole lot but I don't make big batches. I might of used a little bit of onion and cilantro in it as well. I haven't made it in well over a year.

With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being With your face all made up, living on a screen. Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline

Making hot sauce is really not all that complicated. I make habanerro oil to make viniagrette dressing The by product gets turned into hot sauce. I gotta hit up my buddys who have gardens, They always grow too many pepper plants. I think if all of them pitched in all the extra peppers they grew I could make about five galons of some bomb ass sauce.

Lol, stay with it. After your taste buds season to the flavor. Tabasco has a delicate sweet flavor with a hint of spicy.

Been there many times. The hot sauce they use is Frank's Red Hot. That is used straight for mild wings. The hotter ones they just add some Tabasco. The key to a good wing sauce is the vinegar. That is what gives the bite you get in your nose when you inhale over a bowl.

Yeah tabasco can suck mah balls...
I like Tapatio and Frank's Red Hot for some generic tastyish hot sauce, but not very much heat. Franks is the best sauce for wings though IMO, just because of taste. With some habenero mixed in for more heat.
Much prefer habenero hot sauces or hotter. I don't particularly have a favorite.. there's so many different kinds I've tried that I like. I really gotta try making my own one of these days...
Oh... and Sriracha. Love that shit.
The hot sauce I use really depends on what foods it's being used on

Already mentioned, El Yucateco is fantastic and found at most grocery stores. It's not vinegar based so it has a nice, thick consistency. Also, packed with flavor! They have a chipotle sauce too.
