Still haven't seen this yet. Going to watch it next week. I might even drop a light L dose and blow some chronic -- I wanna be blitzed when I see that shit
The scene with the grizzly is unbelievably realistic...I have no idea how they made it so real. Overall, I just thought the way the director was able to make you feel the rawness of the wilderness up there was better than anything I've seen....Dicaprio was brilliant too.

The Voices, 7.5/10 good performance by Ryan Reynolds, unusual movie though the script could have used more editing imo, parts of it feel forced. worth a watch though

It's a netflix produced documentary made by a film maker who suffered a stroke in her early 30's - it follows her recovery - she's literally living with this brain that is constantly 'tripping' for lack of better word, trying to relearn how to read and speak.
It's beautiful. She's got this lovely london accent and is such an eloquent and beautiful person that struggles through so much and she managed to put together this really humanizing account. i cry everytim. It's also surprisingly trippy, like I said.

Super campy horror film from the 80's - I don't know why it's not a cult film. It's not actually scary, but it's more entertaining than you're average campy vintage horror film.

Krampus 7/10
Surprised by how good it was. Some tongue in cheek humor and surprising moments, but not scary. I'm a huge fan of monsters, aliens, whatever in movies and they did well with this one. The ending was pretty original.

I respect your opinion. But good god i thought that movie was terrible, and i had such high hopes for it.
I literally had to turn off the movie when they went in the attic ajd all the toys started attacking the people. Smfh.
Id rate it a 3/10
My good friend enjoyed it a lot. Not sure how. And he had good taste in movies.

Trainwreck
4/10
Basically the only 4 points are there because of Bill Hader. Amy Schumer is just not funny. And none of the cameo's in that movie were funny, especially the John Cena one

Schumer not funny? gasp
"Boyhood" 9/10 pretty cool movie starring ethan hawke and patricia arquette. filmed intermittently over a period of 10 years, you see the adult and kid actors actually age. it's a trip!

Maybe I liked it so much because I had just watched John Wick, and was it disappointing that any other movie would make up for it. I thought that the attic scene was a bit ludicrous, but so was the rest of the movie. I enjoy films that are not so serious, and rely on bad writing to make it good. There aren't many movies that fit that criteria. I'm a fan of tim and eric if that explains my preferences at all.

hell and back 7.6/10
really funny cynical humor, watch for the dialogue and laugh your ass off, and then get distracted midway through and tune out...because that's what I did. I watched it in a group and everyone just tuned out and talked so maybe it's not the movie at all,

Legend (2015)
7.7/10
I thought it was good, Tom Hardy is one of a handful of actors I like, so was interesting to see him play two roles in the same film. I also like films that are set in different time periods, that is being in the past, or the future, was cool to see some of 60's London swag in the film.
Anyway, if you like gangster films, I would recommend.

It wasn't very good. 2/10. There was really only one good part. The rest was just one girl being really dumb. Bad ending too

I saw 2 movies over the weekend. The first was Bridge of Spies with Tom Hanks, which I think I'd give maybe a 7.25 out of 10. It felt like it dragged out at times and wasn't like, SUPER interesting, but it was enjoyable enough.
The second was The Hateful Eight. I'd been wanting to see it since it came out, since I really like some of Tarantino's movies. It also felt a bit slow at times (I might be a little inpatient lol) but it was very entertaining once shit started to go down. The way the characters interacted with each other was awesome (as usual into Tarantino movies IMO); I loved the way they interacted with the woman. Not exactly my favorite story-line, or, it just didn't feel as unique and creative as some of Tarantino's other movies... like it did feel kinda predictable at times, and the whole time I was hoping for something really crazy to happen out of nowhere (it kinda did but not as much as I hoped). Regardless I liked it a good bit - I'll give it an 8.75 out of 10.
