Last movie I saw was the Entourage movie. It was alright but nothing special. Basically just a long episode with more guest stars.

It's okay to feel natural.

I just watched Fierce People(2005)

6/10

This movie had some good things going for it.  It was unique in ways, contained some good acting, and had a crisp division line when a major event occurred.  However, its massive downfall was that since character development ov the possible suspects who could have perpetrated the crime was so thin, the culprit was blaringly obvious and it developed into a very weak mystery.  And when it is revealed that the obvious baddie(the cutest in the film btw) was guilty, his reasoning behind the act was laughably thin.  Overall i'd say that it was interesting but underdeveloped.

There was an interesting parallel betwixt a south american indian tribe and the wealthy tribal society that served as setting going on.  If anything is to be taken from the movie, i'd say that it would be the similarity ov human reaction to forces outside one's control despite the setting.  And while this was a pretty good abstract effort at reifying this conception, and a movie's marketability should'nt reflect upon its artistic worth, i cant help but feel that a movie ov this nature with a 15y/o protagonist limits its audience significantly.  Despite his respectable display ov teenage angst, indecisiveness, and curious intrigue, the major plot twist is likely too strong and serious for most ov the younger crowd who may identify with him.  And the movie in general is too underdeveloped in plot and character to appeal to those who like a thinker drama.

I watched a couple of movies over the weekend

Blue Ruin  8.5/10  really good revenge movie, some of the scenes make you squirm a bit

'71 7/10  another decent movie about a British solider who is caught behind enemy lines during the Protestant and Catholic conflict in Ireland. a lot of loose ends at the end of the movie that weren't tied up otherwise a solid movie

"Transcendence" Johnny Depp becomes zombie techno virus and the most popular poster on the entire internet even more popular than Morgan Freeman who is jealous of Depp's popularity.

watched The Visitor(2007) yesterday. loved it, rick jenkins kills it again. has a slow plot and is a tad depressing though. i'd say it isnt for everyone, very indie
