Pins formed in Wild Bird Seed Jars??

Hey guys,
First time grower here. I used the "6 quart dub tub mist and fan" tek which you can find here: 6 Quart Dub Tub
Anyway, my other jars are almost fully colonized but I had stopped checking this one because the top 1/3 of the jar just looked like regular WBS with no signs of colonization at all. I thought it might be contam, but I just let it go anyway. I just checked and noticed there are little pins forming and a pretty good sized mushroom growing near the bottom!

I'm not sure where to go from here. Should I keep letting them grow in vitro or should I somehow put them through the spawn run? I have no idea what to do, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

I would assume you can pick them then spawn of but I'm not sure.
-------------------- Alright then, picture this if you will: 10 to 2 AM, X, Yogi DMT, and a box of Krispy Kremes, in my "need to know" post, just outside of Area 51. Contemplating the whole "chosen people" thing with just a flaming stealth banana split the sky like one would hope but never really expect to see in a place like this. Cutting right angle donuts on a dime and stopping right at my Birkenstocks, and me yelping... Holy fucking shit!

myc fruiting before full colonization means somethings wrong with the rest of it or there is as least a barrier of con tam between. start some new jars and spawn that outside somewhere.

Why is there verm in the jar? That is the first problem. Verm has been known to cause undesirable premature pinning in spawn jars. That should never be done. Second is that you never shook them when you should have. Now the colony on bottom is no longer in a veg state. Often pinning before full colonization is a sign of contam, and those do not look healthy IMO. Third, that tek you posted is crap, I would personally start over, following a proper tek.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Apparently the guy who wrote that tek said he put verm at the bottom to absorb extra moisture to prevent contamination. Some of it got mixed around when I shook up the jars. The weirdest thing is that the other jars turned out fine. I'm definitely gonna use a different tek when I do G2G in a couple days.
Should Ireally just throw these outside in the dirt and see waht happens? lol
