Trichocereus bridgesii Growth Speed

As I'm having no luck sourcing LSD I thought I would give the old cactus a try.
Roughly how long do they take to grow from small cuttings as this is what I'll probably buy (rather a lot of them). How many cm per year etc would be helpful.
I'm thinking of growing an army of them for the future but I might just buy large cuttings when I feel I've got the tea method down in my head.

As far as I know T.bridgesii has about the same growth speed than T.pachanoi.
My biggest T.pachanoi has grown 8cm since march(!). But I guess younger ones grow much slower, as my little 12cm pachanoi head-cutting has grown only 3cm since then. It is only half in diameter.

I've had bridgesii grow as much as 2foot a year (60cm's or so) but they most only put on a foot a year depending on climate

This thread belongs in the EG but I suggest the search function.
I think the rule of thumb on Trich. Growth is between double in size to a foot a year depending on climate obviously.
A cutting can take months to grow roots.

A foot (30 cm) or so. Full sun, dry heat and enough water could produce 2 feet per year.

Is it fond of the sun, I'll have to do some research into growing conditions. It sounds like once they take root they are speedy growers. Are they legal to keep in the UK, if so I'll have them lined up on my windowsills!

If you plan on consuming, once they are grown cut off a portion from the top to root, keep the middle section for consumption, and leave the bottom in the soil, which will throw pups and regrow. So you started with 1 cactus, and end up with 2 cactus plus a mescaline trip. Do that again, and eventually shit starts getting out of control and you wont need to buy cactus ever again.
