ID Request: Sweet looking mushroom on Long Island

Habitat: Wood - Found along mowed roadside, along a golf course, growing near a dead stump (probably silver maple).

Gills: The gill color are creamy white (see photo)

Stem: Whitish, fibrous, somewhat brittle, slightly enlarged at base, approx 0.5 cm wide.

Cap: Brownish white, various sizes, turned coffee w/cream brown when older.

Spore print color: A light pink/salmon color.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: North East Coast region of the USA.

Pluteus sp.  Possibly something like Pluteus petasatus, but I was lazy and didn't check on ME to see if that's a species that grows on the East Coast.

Thank you. That sure looks like it. And Pluteus petasatus is, apparently, widely distributed east of the Rockies.
