Hey all. I realized something today.
Why the HELL is everyone going after phalaris and those unreliable sources and wasting their time when psycotria virdis grows wild in the U.S.?
Maybe it's just me but I have a seemingly unlimited source of psycotria. It's everywhere for me, maybe it is for you too.
Am I wrong? Is there something I'm missing?
I mean hell I could be but I don't get it.

This plant is hardy from zone 10 and higher. This leaves out most of north america.

isn't that plant unscheduled? If you have such an endless supply, you could send people leaves. (I think a leaf is all you need to start a plant with those.)
Would make you real popular around here and it wouldn't be that hard.

I feel like I found a money tree. Damn.
Yeah it is unscheduled, but not if you intend on consumption.
So that's actually quite the idea.

If I had an endogenous plant near me I would use it. However, I would try my best to keep the species a secret. Once people figure these things out those plants will eventually become scarce due to over harvesting and leo will be watching what's left like a hawk.

P. viridis does not grow in the wild in the USA. I don't think you've identified your plant correctly.
