water ftw!
I agree legit ALL I drink these days is water or beer. I dont care for juice i can just eat the fruit and soda i havent touched in almost a decade now
i like soda way more than i shud but ive been drinking way less of it recently. in the summer i naturally just drink way more water cuz its hot out
i always try to drink water with meals tho, unless its pizza. pizza and soda is just american as fuck
Have you tried switching over to seltzer water? It can give you the bubbly feeling of soda but none of the negatives, also they make some great naturally flavored waters

Yeah, most of the time if I try and drink a beer with food, it makes the food taste shittier, and the beer itself taste real bad while I'm eating. They make each other taste different to me, usually worse.
I went to Chicago a few years ago for a work thing and stopped at Morton's steak house, had a beer with their rib eye, and that was incredible, but apart from steak so far, I have to switch to soda or water at least while I'm eating and go back to drinking after.

nah idk if ive ever drank seltzer tbh
i just like soda cuz it tastes good lol. its liquid candy
ive just been tryin to drink more water cuz its better for you. its easier in the summer for me to drink water cuz its hot out and youre actually thirsty. in the winter its cold out and like i just need more flavor than water. been doing this yearly process for a couple years now
i cant drink water when im blazing either. need juice or something. water just sucks when all the other flavor is like weed smoke. ugh its kinda gross imo

Go to the super market and grab a bottle of or whatever flavor floats your boat. I bet you'll love it

Ugh I can't stand seltzer water.
I don't really drink soda unless its with liquor. And since I don't drunkdrink liquor anymore I don't really drink soda either.
Water and juice is the way to go. And beer of course

Carbonated water actually hydrates you faster then regular water. I also enjoy the carbonation fun giggle factor lol.

I probably drink 125-200 oz of water a day. i can chug a 2 liter of water no problem if my stomach is empty.
I live in a hot, dry desert climate though. Just standing outside sucks the moisture out of you.
Back to the question though, Other than the essentials i don't buy much. I like to just save, for when i need stuff when shit breaks. (like my car, computer or anything else around the house) Most of the extra money that i spend goes to drugs and alcohol.
I usually only buy new stuff when the old breaks/wears out.
I hate how we live in a throw-away society where you just buy a replacement when shit breaks

I like to go to fancy restaurants sometimes, like hundred-dollar steaks fancy. Okay, I just went to one once. It was such a gaping expenditure that IMO it still counts for this thread, about three months later. Point is, it was awesome and I think I'll do it again sometime. There were twenty-one different kinds of salt for chrissake.

i dont drink beer (its gross) so like all i have is liquor
so like mixed drinks is my only option. or just shots but i rarely have the motivation to get drunk enough to drink shots. if im drinkin shots im probly out of any other kind of drug and im gonna get completely shitfaced

I spend most of my disposable income on food. Every month I go to this all you can eat Japanese restaurant. Costs me about 12 to 13. Then I go to Starbucks once in a while. Other than these, I do not spend my money at all.
I have a friend, and she is an engineer. She likes to go shopping for shoes and clothes. Said that it gave her the motivation to want to work hard.

yeah thats what everyones always told me, to drink like a more legit beer
but idk im over it, in general im really not a fan of alcohol anyways
for the rest of my life ill probly drink less than one beer
with beer everyones like "oh its an acquired taste". an acquired taste is bullshit and a lie. acquired taste really means "it tastes like shit, you just got used to it"
the last time i even took a sip was like prob 3-4 years ago. i was at a bar and reallly drunk and having a horrible night. bar was about to close and i saw a bunch of drinks people just left there cuz they had already left so i started drinking any drink that was there. then i realized i drank beer and spit it out on the floor lol

So, we see that many people waste money on crap either they don't need or can get much cheaper if they use a tiny bit of sense and will power.
$800 a month to eat out and 340 to have the house cleaned twice??? That is bat shit nuts. Even if you make $100,000 a year its not a good idea and many in this thread make a whole lot less. This is why so many people never get out of poverty, never really get into the middle class or never move up, period.
A great ship can sink from many small leaks. What happens when the good times are over and hard times come? Where is the money you could have put aside or invested in something that would improve your life or make more money for you? It was all thrown out the window and the opportunity was lost. Good times never last forever, if you are just barely treading water now, it could be very bad later.
Wise up now, eat at home, brown bag it at work, do it yourself or shop around. You can save many times 50% of the cost of an item by shopping around and with google you have no excuse not to. When you have money left, do not think what you will run out and spend it on. Put it in the bank instead. Buy a home instead of renting. 30 years of paying rent brings you nothing but a higher rent bill to pay today. Paying a mortgage for 20 or 30 years means you own it and no more rent to pay.
-------------------- “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835) Trade list http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18047755

I make much more per hour than my cleaners. The time that I would have spent cleaning the house is spent working (at a higher income rate). The result is a net monetary gain. I'm curious how that is bat shit nuts?
