all the caps are textured, some of them are heavily covered in spores so color and texture is a little deceiving

Yeah i would say there are some Gymnopilus species there. Not too sure what though. I wouldn't recommend eating them but if you decide to make sure you make it into a tea.

Wait for TI to confirm first.

It is Gymnopilus, check microscopic features and compare with the Gymnopilus monograph.
