Coconut Water Nutrient Agar?

Idk if this goes here or in Advanced Mycology, but would coconut water based agar plates work well?

To an extent yes. It has a carb/sugar source but it may not be optimal.

What would make it suboptimal? Coconut water is extremely high in nutrients, what would be good to add to it?

It's high in potassium which may be in too much of a concentration, same with sugars.

I don't know what else is actually in it but what we make is more suitable.
