He's old- has bad arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, neuropathy, no cartilage here and there etc. He struggles lighting his cigs and hitters and I can't find anything useful.
So if you know of a lighter that would be easy on a guy having trouble with his numb tingly weak painful thumbs, your response would be tits.
Regular sized bics are his go-to but he still goddammits trying to light up.

I have a Colibri Delta. its a refillable, adjustable soft-flame.
very easy to light, takes very little pressure to actuate the lighter
but the catch is that it is pretty small, and he might have troule holding it:

its about 2" tall, 1" wide, and 1/4" thick

Zippos are also pretty easy to spark up. no button to press or anything, just spin the wheel. but they arent much good for smoking bowls
IME, grill lighters take a bit of force to pull their trigger or actuator. if you can find one thats easy to pull, that would be fine. but in general, grill lighters have strong springs on the trigger to keep kids(and arthritics) from lighting them

Awesome I'll check out that first suggestion.
As for a zippo that's a no go. Been tried.
Thanks!

That child proof removal after a quick you-tubin' was a snap and is much easier for him.
Shroomery rocks.

NO SOUP FOR YOU VINSUE!
Theres little to grip and not much leverage and it results in profanity. Seen it.
But thoughtful, so you rock too.

Yeah he likes his american spirit tobacco more than the herb. He wants a vape he can conceal.
But I've looked high and low for a small inconspicuous vape at a decent price. He doesn't really NEED one.
I've found some candidates but they mention there's a learning curve because of their touchy nature.
If there was an inexpensive super simple "so easy a caveman could do it" vape that doesn't cost half a grand and require huffing a balloon, sure.
He was digging those asthma inhaler vapes but I also read that was finicky.
A green mouse turd in a bowl seems to be his cup of tea.

Check out the Cloud V Phantom for herbs Portable, looks like an e-cig, has replaceable chargeable batteries & honestly works just as good as a big plug in vaporizer & is only like $120

. . .
This is what I tried with my dad but he didn't have the finger strength to roll the wheel but every once on a while he can.
I got him a real nice lighter that worked by pushing a button instead
