OK PEEPS im new on here and i need help. IM seeking mushrooms for any purpose really although i dont want to be dead!!! I live in southwest OK or some may consider it NW AR. Its been really humid as with most of the U.S. and mushrooms are an abundance right now and i love eating them and up most love examining them, they are so mystic and majestic and most importantly good for you. For once i have found a Genus that i cannot ID. so here it is please help because i think it is a good one. Blue stems at growth before i even touched them, copper mbrown to dark brown caps, not translucent, and they smell really shroomey. I found them in the woods under a series of trees, i had to crawl to get them they were so deep under the trees. They were surrounded by other genus of shrooms many which i could nt ID. Most interesting i found the toxic look alike to "the bell". This genus was the only one that bruised blueish and grew blueish at the stem. Pics after response.

good thing i just got here and haven't been waiting almost two hours for a picture. matt, you made me laugh though. op made me laugh too, but kinda in a different way, tho i have to say i did enjoy the imagery of the crawling under a series of trees and wondered which genera were there that remained identified but nameless. and i do wonder what shroomy smells like. i almost can't wait to find out.

Are you referring to these? They appear to be an Inocybe species. Possibly toxic. That's not blue bruising, they just have purple stems. There's also another species in there (those yellow ones) that I can't make out well enough to ID.
