Growing in a well fertilized park. Lots of ducks and geese.
Gills look darker than the foes I've been finding.
Spore print appears to be black. Still printing but I have included a pic of whats dropped so far.
Looks like some blue bruising on the base of the stipe. (unless my eyes are playing tricks on me.

Found a few more of these today. I'm finding these in the same spots I was finding foes, the warmer weather and higher humidity seem to be bringing them out.

I see a small amount of brown in the 2 prints you say are jet black (1 from the first post of the thread, and also in the supposedly non-foe print you posted next to the foe print).

Here are a couple more pics.
Anybody have any idea? Cinctulus? Olivaceus? Neither?

Am I the only one who doesn't see brown in that print? Looking at it IRL I see no signs of brown in the print.
I've noticed these are much firmer than the foes I've been finding. They also have a darker stipe.

i'd suggest looking hard at olivaceus. now i'm pretty sure i have some from my lowe's pots. i spent an hour last night looking at them under the scope. if i have time later today or tomorrow i'll update my findings in my own thread there... but to the point, they strongly resemble yours, have black prints and i'd swear they're not cincts
do you have access to a scope? or someone who does?
i think at this point, you might need one to differentiate.

Olivaceus is what I was leaning toward myself.
I realize it's hard to see, but there was some clear bluing in the base of the stipe shown in the first pic of this thread. I should have taken some more pics, but tossed it into a little garden area with some horse compost in it.
Unfortunately I don't have access to a microscope, but I've quickly realized that I will need one asap if I plan to continue with this hobby.
