Nope, trich is a facultative parasite of cubensis. It weaves In the green is only spores they both have white mycelium

This is why there's no cutting, salting, saving if you see green. There's a few dumb dumb that try to cut out. Removing huge pieces of sub. Best case keep it from Happening

If another contender even shows up to the main event, you've already lost the fight and the pay per view is over. Turn off your TV.

One of my idiot buddies disbelieved me when I told him you couldn't cut out trich once. Then his mom came to town and he came over to my place with this huge 105-quart mega-mono that had a big chunk cut out of the center with a fish bowl. He said it had been a quarter-sized piece of trichoderma right in the middle, and instead of doing the smart thing and yelling at him and throwing it in the trash right away, I proceeded to get drunk with him and let it ride. The next morning before work I looked at it and the edges of the crater were green, but I couldn't get to it in time. When I came back, fully a quarter of the substrate was green, and for a while after that even my reishi would contaminate quickly.
Moral of the story:
1. Don't do 105-quart tubs 2. Don't do substrate surgery 3. Don't be friends with stupid people (especially Rob)

I exclusively use 105's. Many. I have contained trych (before it sporulated), from midway through flush 2, through to flush 4.
Just gotta be determined. Not for the non commited.

Fruiting a trich surgery tub in your house, now there's something pretty desperate about that

seems desperate.
I use my 105s for fruiting chambers for my trays. Splitting it up seems to be best imo. Vander, I'd bet you could use your 105s like this. I too noticed it was too much substrate regularly. 18-22 qts of manure for the tub to be 2-3 inches and 8-12 qts for the 4 trays to be 2-3 inches.

I and several other non dumb dumbs have successfully cut out trich in tubs. It must be done before it sporulates and it's not guaranteed. And honestly, i do not recommend it. But in the case of yours op, no. Throw it out and start over

Threw them all out- PC'ing twelve more today. I had the highest contam rate I've ever had so I researched some more and the two glaring mistakes I made were 1: inoculating the dry verm barrier accidentally, and 2: I forgot to wipe the area clean first!!!
I also on that first round had gone by my ancient research and didn't bring verm up to capacity first- but that was rectified on the other jars I have going now.
