Hi Everyone,
Been enjoying the forums so far. Just had my very first hunt with my partner and was wondering if we could get these ID'd please. Sorry I haven't posted the spore print colour due to time constraints but I am in the process of doing it now and hopefully if done correctly, I will update with them tomorrow. Please let me know if I have missed anything. Thank you all in advance!
Habitat: All were found in the same area in Sydney i.e. a nature reserve that has a hiking trail. With a high abundance of eucalyptus trees.
#1

Gills: light brown/orange Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem: 6cm, roughly
Cap: 1cm diameter

Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
#2

This looks almost like #1 but blue. It was found in this colour.
Gills: light blue/purple
Stem: 6cm, roughly
Cap: light blue/purple, 1cm diameter
Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
#3

Gills: light blue/purple. The other is light brown/orange. Sorry, I thought these were the same species since from the outside they looked the same but noticing the gills, they are different. Very sorry.
Stem: 3-10cm, roughly
Cap: 3-6cm diameter, roughly

Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
#4
I'm so so sorry about these. In the haste of getting these before someone saw, we broke them:

Gills: White
Stem: 5cm, roughly
Cap: I think it was about 10cm diameter before it was destroyed.

Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
#5

Gills: Yellow
Stem: 6cm, roughly
Cap: 8-10cm diameter, roughly
Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
Other: Very slimy.
#6

Gills: Light brown
Stem: 6cm-15cm, roughly
Cap: Less than 2cm diameter
Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
#7

Gills: None that I have noticed.
Stem: <1cm maybe?
Cap: 2-3cm x 2cm. Not sure if there is a cap.
Spore print color: Still in the process. Will edit once it's done.
Bruising: Haven't noticed any
Edit: Other: Forgot to add the brown bit is bark. This was found growing on bark.
Edit: Spore Prints were generally brown except for number 4. I'm assuming it is white since it didn't show up on the paper.

Also added the underside of #7

number 3 is Cortinarius rotundisporus.
4 is a Russula species.
2 might be a Cortinarius species too. Not sure about number 1.

No worries. There are no active species there.
Good effort for your first ID request. Always try and get a picture of the whole mushroom, or at least the cap and gills and stipe. Thats most important for ID'ing. Spore colour can be seen usually through looking at the gills and stipe.
Someone should help with the other ID's.

Thanks again! It's disappointing but not surprising. But it's ok because it's been a lot of fun
I'll be sure to take better pictures next time as well.

Seem's like you've done a bit of research and were searching in the right kind of habitat. Keep hunting, you'll find them

Thanks! Yeah we read a bit about it on where to find them and what to look for. Would have been awesome if we got it right the first go but it's all just a learning experience right now. Fingers crossed the next time we go is a little better. I really appreciate all the help so far!

#1 looks like an Inocybe sp., print should be a dull brown. Any specific odor?
#2 & #3 are a Cortinarius sp., as mentioned probably C. rotundisporus.
#4 is a Russula sp., check odor, taste (nibble and spit out after a while) and spore print.
#5 need to see gill shot and preferably a spore print. Could be a Cortinarius sp., or maybe Pholiota.
#6 is a Mycena sp.
#7 picture of underside and stem is needed.
Take note that I'm in Europe and not well versed with your strange Southern Hemisphere funga.

Thank you! I'm taking prints now and the way I've set it up makes it difficult to get the smell/any sort of access without accidentally moving them but I'll update with more detail tomorrow once the prints are defined enough. Thanks again!
