So your saying if you were at a party and were underage you would rather have everyone get charged then to just dump the booze? I understand if we were talking about a cop who takes a bottle of liqour from a dude who was drunk driving and just lets him go. I think that cop did real police work, working for society and not "the system".

It's amazing that cops will violate people rights and you guys say he's doing you a favor. The cop was being lazy. How much worth of merchandise do you think a cop should be allowed to take from you without any legal recourse before you have a problem with this kind of behavior?
Any amount, sheekle was breaking the law and the cop let him off with a break. Its either get the shirts seized and ur good to go, or get the shirts seized the legal way then get fined/ charged.

The proper analogy would be a party where the cops come in and take the booze and leave.

Again, giving him a break is telling him he can't sell them.
Corruption is corruption and it should be called out. I have a problem with people justifying this kind of behavior.

Eh semantics. I still would rather have the cops take the booze for themselves then be charged. This is purely hypothetical but imagine you get pulled over by a cop and you have a mandatory minimum amount of drugs on you, would you rather have him take it from you with no charges or go to prison for many years?

I guess Im looking at it black and white while you are looking at it as a whole, if that makes any sense. I don't really know how to put it into words.

Tshirts are not an illegal substance.

Yes but in this case they are. Im really bad at explaining things sometimes and sometimes it looks like Im saying one thing but could mean the opposite. Im looking at it in sheekles situation and that is the second best outcome that could have happened. The best would be the cop telling him to leave. But even then thats corruption and according to you sheekle should be charged/ fined AND have his shirts seized.

If cops went by the book no one would ever get charged

If sheekle didnt tell the cop he was selling them he would have just been in possesion of legal t shirts and if the cop seized them then I could understand being salty, but the way the situation happened I would be happy I was stopped by that cop if I was sheekle.
