if your spawn was clean I'm sure you'll get some! it didn't really look like the dub tub had proper FAE going judging by the pics tho, other than that fruiting right after casing is fine and 8 days is normal.

upon opening one of the tubs i found that my casing layer was very wet, so i fanned it for a good 5 minutes and it was still wet, ill continue to fan until it appears moist and not wet, that may have been the problem for not seeing pins, correct me if im wrong, it takes about a week to see pins ( at least thats what im reading on shroomery grow logs)

if my sub was too wet to induce pinning for a week then i fanned it back to the optimum moisture content will it start to pin?

because in the first 8 days of fruiting i had set it up like a zombie tub or double monotub ( tub on top taped to tub on bottom both with 4 sides polyfill for FAE) one of the tubs got combweb which i remedied with a misting of h202, and the other was fine, so now i have a fan pointing at the tub about 10 ft away just so when i put my hand by the tubs i feel a light breeze. and one tub im going to follow the mist and fan tek because the surface of the sub looked a lil wet. so im going to give it a crazy amount of fae while keeping the casing layer moist. If you cant already tell, im freaking out that my tubs have probably died due to lack of proper FAE in this past week, however the mycellium looks white and fluffy and is poking through the casing layer around the edges and corners of the tub. I JUST WANT ONE damn mushroom so i can say this grow was somewhat successfull. I have another tub in a TIT right now colonizing as a back up.

Yeah, watch out for that cobweb mold, it can sneak up on you! Also, just give it time man sounds like you have adequate FAE. Good luck

you want 2 top holes on the short sides of the tub as well stuffed loosely with poly.

they are, sorry if i came off as a bit of an ass the first few posts im just extremely pissed that two of my tubs currently might not pin. im aggrivated becasue i thought i did everything right, the substrate was fully colonized, i had perfect grain spawn, the tubs were built to spec, and i have a fan in the room circulating air near the tubs... i just dont get it.

Don't get worried, they'll fruit when there ready. As long as there are no foul smells or any signs of mold, I would continue to let them do their thing. Patients is one of the most important aspects of growing.

Next time do not introduce to fruiting conditions until mycelium is poking up through the casing layer, 20-30% or so.
But pins can take up to 7-10 days to appear, so do not worry too much.
About how deep is your casing layer?

It should still work, keep fanning and keep an eye on the moisture. Also since you didn't let it colonize through the casing enough you might not see the knots or pins at first. Just be patient

http:// this the tub that I'm not fanning with polyfill, from the area where condensation hasn't collected, do you guys think there's enough fae?

The poly in the bottom holes look a little loose. Are there beads of water on the surface of your substrate? An aerial pic would be nice.
