Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Do a bit more research into preparation before you think about it. They need to be dried or heated to a certain temperature to remove the toxic ibotenic acid.
Also wait for a TI because i'm not that good at identifying Amanita's.

It is most definitely amanita. It is toxic and can kill you.
If you ingest a certain amount you might trip but not from a drug but from your body dying.

Do you have any citation on a muscaria variant causing death?

in this particular case you are incorrect. on this forum we do try to stick to what is fact and not hearsay or conjecture or mystical philosophy. In the future, please refrain from sweeping statements when you're wrong. what it is before you dry it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ibotenic_acid
what you get as a result of the above and decarboxylation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscimol
OP, it likely won't kill you, but might make you wish you were dead, especially if improperly prepared and researched.

There are some cited cases of deaths linked to A. muscaria in this article written by Debbie Viess:

Me neither, just saw that yesterday. I think in each case there were extenuating circumstances, but I haven't checked the citations yet. At this point, I don't think eating A. muscaria to get high is particularly dangerous, but I do think it's a bad way to get high. I'd probably rather eat a bunch of benadryl.
