I like your idea of the slits at the end to direct the air- you might even want to expound on that idea- the only thing is do you have holes in the tarp to let the air out? Also- how do you access it? Do you simply have a slit in the front which would also answer my first question?

I'm also wondering- wouldn't you run the vaporizer through a condenser ?

A warm mist humidifier? Usually you want cool mist IE Ultrasonic humidifiers. They reach higher humidity levels than a evaporative humidifier would. But you're showing 99% humidity sooo... Have you calibrated the gauge? Damp paper towel in a ziplock bag w/ the sensor?
I always put my martha straight on the concrete floor. When i throw it back together it's going to be on a washer tray. I leave the bottom of my martha open then I piped in the humidity from the cool mist and used small PC fans for circulating air internally. I had cut various slits in the plastic all over the martha to allow for air exchange.
I could see that hepa being way overwhelming for that system. Do you plan to run it 24/7? It may be okay if used in burst.
Don't worry about having everything super sealed up. Let it all breathe, think of a SGFC.

Travel Agency: The martha I use has two zippers on the front which allows for access to the chamber. I run the Duct into one side and leave the other unzipped a bit.
Funny Light: I calibrated when I bought the hygrometer about 2 months ago, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to double calibrate. Also, yeah. The HEPA blew the martha up like a balloon so I Have been running it in bursts (1-4 times per day). I also had a problem with the humidifier heating the GH too much(Up to 80+F), but this was due to the sensor being directly above the humidifier. Solution: I put a try under the sensor in place where my colonized trays will eventually go. It seems to disperse the mist more. I also added a small fan that comes on along with the humidifier, removed the HEPA, and just run the HEPA in the small space around my martha. Temperature is down to 70-75F with humidity 95-99%! thank you, good to hear from someone who has one!
Thanks for the replies!

Alright so your humidifier is increasing the temps. Are you SURE you have a cool mist humidifier?? You need an ultrasonic humidifier, otherwise your limited to some 70-75% max RH with an evaporative humidifier (old RR post describing this).

My friend changed the set up pretty much completely. Now it has a cool mist humidifier (he double checked that lol) which is controlled automatically to turn on/off to keep the range between 85-95%. two can lights with 6500K bulbs. A fan on a timer that runs 15 minutes multiple times a day. and the temp is 70-75F.
